4:2:0 would probably be tollerable on 4k. Certainly isnt on a 1080 display. Thanks intel onboard video for giving me no choice.

I am actually really struggling to see the need to distribute HDMI now that all my content either comes from the TV itself or a media player that costs less than any of the HDMI distribuition solutions cost.

overkill: You can look into control systems like iRidium Mobile, iRule, Command Fusion, Bitwise, DemoPad (we use/install this brand) or Comfort Click and plenty more. These are relatively easy to DIY setup and can use multiple hardware controlled via one app. Global Cache do hardware controllers for IP to RS232, contact closure and IR, and now most new product have IP control, integration is very easy. DemoPad offer a unit that has RS232, contact closure, IR ports all in one unit, the Centro8.

Does anyone have any experience with the above systems i.e. pros/cons?
