Can download the app from the Google play store and I notice in the store also has the app for Neon but prefer netflix. Couldn't justify buying a smart TV or paying $300 for a apple TV4 to access netflix. And you can't buy Roku streamers here or the fire TV.

I also bought a wireless mouse to use with the box after looking at some reviews on youtube available also on the Aliexpress site. Don't forget to order unit with a AU plug for use here in NZ.

Looks like an interesting box, but the details are pretty light - I assume that you need to plug in an external HDD to time-shift ?

The LAN port - I would assume that it can play content from a centralised location, but can it also record content across the LAN, rather than to an external HDD  ?

I wish these things had an instruction manual accessible on site ...

This is what I know. In the two months I have had it, it plays KODI, netflix, youtube and other content with no problems, has two USB ports, ethernet port, 2 band wifi,Optical out for dolby digital, OTG port, and other features. On the Aliexpress website for this product it does give a email address to contact the manufacturer. So far I have been totally satisfied in the products I have bought from Aliexpress and there professional service.

Has all the specs further down the page. Kodi can also be updated to the latest version. There is also a wide assortment of videos on youtube testing these chinese boxes.

Ebay money back guarantee:

If you received an item that’s incomplete, damaged, counterfeit, or otherwise not as described, request a return from My eBay. We will track the resolution and help if you ask us to step in.

That's not a guarantee, more a sort of guideline. I've received completely fake, nonfunctional products from Chinese vendors, provided proof of this to eBay, and they settled in favour of the vendor.

That's a PITA. I've had the opposite experience with the eBay dispute resolution team.

What I received from the eBay vendor wasn't as described so I emailed him and was told to contact a different email address. After a few emails over a few weeks it became apparent it was a bit address so I emailed the dispute centre briefly outlining all of the above. They ruled in my favour within 30 minutes. Money was back in my account a few days later.
