I use deConz on home assistant with a dresden conbee II USB stick. (https://www.amazon.com/dresden-elektronik-ConBee-Universal-Gateway/dp/B07PZ7ZHG5?ref_=ast_bbp_dp)

This works well with a MI door sensor I'm playing with.

Also have a hue bridge and some light bulbs and switches which don't interfere.

I got one of these and it seems to have a pretty good range.

AliXpress

Just be careful to select the right "Color".

I bought a CC Debugger and cable at the same time.

I didn't test it as is, I jumped straight into flashing it.

Did you get the CC2531 or or 2540? No first hand knowledge of this, but just from the Zigbee2mqtt page, one is primarily a coordinator and the other is primarily a router?

Apologies. I should have been clearer. I got the CC2351 with aerial. The CC2340 is a bluetooth module not a Zigbee.

When I referred to selecting the right color, I should have been clear about me selecting the CC2351 with aerial which several people had been looking to do via a hack earlier in this thread.

I’m waiting on a raspbee hat. Hopefully it lets me get rid of the crappy IKEA tradfri bridge and access motion sensors directly.
