Why?

You can buy the latest power adapter for USB-C for additional cost... and in a few years time (if your wall power supply is still working) it'll be superseded by something else?

We had the same issue when we specified our new build... what power adapters provide in the wall?

The best answer we decided on was plug-in-able power adapters, cheaper, simpler, more future-proof.
