@Kookoo you’re not doing anything funky with the Synology with them? Otherwise I have not seen this happen before. My parents cameras are really rock solid.

Nah not touching the Synology.

I'm thinking something is wrong with the base station's radio. The one camera that stays connected is about a meter from the base. The other two are 4 meters and about 10 meters away. I tried switching from Standard to Performance working mode - same diff.

Yeah, just tried placing it on the other end of the lounge from the homebase - works fine. Moved it to the laundry behind the wall - gone offline. Surely that's not how it's supposed to work.

Sounds like an iffy base station. With our system (Homebase 2 + 3x 2c's) I've got one 20m away through an external wall, another 15m away through 4 walls, and the final one 20m away through 3 walls and they all connect fine.

Yep fully thinking it is a faulty base station. Do the annoying warranty thing :(

My parents have got cameras actually rather far from the base station (I was very surprised they worked that far out given their WiFi doesn't reach these locations) and have been connected nicely for years. They do however have a Gen 1 system but I am guessing the later models are a bit better again.
