That's just simply a Orange Pi Zero running Ubuntu with Homebridge installed. You can do the same yourself for cheaper as the Orange Pi Zero is available for around $40NZ with a case from AliExpress. Homebridge practically runs on anything.

Yeah I know. I'm comparing it to a HOOBS box which starts at US$250.

Hoobs is a bit of a disgrace. They forked Homebridge and then sell the hardware at massively marked up prices. Just get a Pi and install Homebridge.
