I think the S9's supports Qualcomm QC 9v @1.67A ~15W. If you want to stick with your deal A port requirement, gets something which supports QC 2.0 or QC3.0 like the below. Iphone will charge slower (I think 5V, 2.4A?)

Have the Samsung branded equivalent in my wifes car, branded as Samsung fast charge, works really well, But a lot slower than USB PD for our modern flagship phones.

S9 also supports USB PD 5V @3A so 15W again, so no loss from going to USB PD.

Have the charger linked below (same one as somebody else suggested) in my car. Works well, but for some reason my phone (S24U) makes an audable whine when using the top USB C port, so I normally used the second one done (25W max). Wifes phone (S25U) works fine on the top port and she often comments on how fast the charging is. Saved our bacon once when my wife forgot her charger for her work laptop and needed to do something urgently. Was plenty powerful enough to charge the work laptop. Note many cars have fuses smaller than 160W for their 12v ports, but our phones max out at 45W, so no chance of us going over the fuse limit in my car.

Cables are cheap ~$3 to add a usb C cable to the above.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.
