Purely out of interest, I wonder what the female Geekzone members feel about this thread.  i.e. I think if I asked about a weather station a Mฤori could understand, or one a Jew could understand, then (quite rightly) the Mods would be all over it.  Yet a thread and lots of posts about the ability of a woman to understand a weather station seems to be totally fine with everyone.  Just curious...

The answer lies in the implicit nature of the question and... you don't have to take everything totally seriously. ๐Ÿ˜

lol quite right.

I don't mind tapping my phone screen 27 times and handing over my firstborn in order to see the temperature and humidity inside and outside the house.  My spouse on the other hand...

Thanks, but I guess I was after the thoughts of any female member.  i.e. rather than having it mansplained.

The question wasn't about females, or women.  It was about wives.  A subset of women.  Not necessarily female. Not necessarily married to a man.

A wife is the person who brings home five identical beige tiles, looks you straight in the eye, tells you with a straight face they are different colours, asks you to pick one and then chooses a different one anyway.  I should know.  I'm on my fourth wife, so this is topic I can speak on with some expertise.

Well, it always comes down to self-confidence, regardless of whether you're a woman or a man. Those who lack it often come up with ideas that don't really benefit humanity. Or they come up with solutions for which there isn't even a problem. ๐Ÿ˜
