Thanks, I am in Wellington and appreciate your offer.  I'll PM you in a week or two when I've got some time.

Jaxson:
In all honesty though, you don't want an approved product.? I'd recommend this if I really felt the urge to do this:

I use a Coolmaster to interface my Daikin AC to CBus. It works well, allowing me to do things like turn on the 6 units in the main part of my house, but none other the other units, with one button from my phone, iPad, CBus touchscreens etc. It's interfaced to a CBus Wiser with a Moxa IP to RS232 convertor. And a trivial amount of home brew code. All in all it's jolly handy, one button turns everything off at night, you can read the current temperature of any room and make smart choices about running the AC, you can warm up the kitchen before you get out of bed in the morning, and walk into a warm house when you get back from vacation at 2am :-)

Daikin also sell a touchscreen for their systems that has an IP interface, although I've never used it.

Can you share with us what you paid for the Coolmaster unit? Looks like a pretty neat piece of kit assuming it doesn't cost mega dollars...
