New deck for my house. Although could easily spend that on materials alone.

Or put the money towards a switchboard upgrade and getting 3 phase power installed.

Use it as a deposit to buy an EV or a new work van. (unfortunately a suitable electric van doesn't exist).

yesterday's deal on OLED 65" for 3.6k at HN

Ooh what model?

this one https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/tv-and-audio/televisions/oled-televisions/panasonic-65-oled-4k-smart-tv.html

it was on its final hours late into the night and I didn't have time to ask the GZ peeps to aid with decision so I thought I'd keep the 3.6k in my pocket

on thinking back I should have bought this and sold my Samsung phone

So you'd go Panasonic over LG?

I know nothing! Oled is Oled isn't it? No?!

Anyway, I would have bought if it had Android TV. All my home network is set up for android TV! Nothing will play if I bought the Pana (or LG for that matter!)

Get your girlfriend/wife half a boob job

I was just reading through all the replies so I could add "New boobs for the girlfriend and a new stapler for the wife" or something similar, but you beat me to it.

sawstop table saw with all the bells and whistles.

This and you can even make a business out of it. Charge $80 per person for for the thrill to dare touching your finger to the blade.

They've got a Sawstop at my local Menzshed. I heard it's $180 to replace the parts when the blade braking system is triggered.

Keeping it reasonably within the scope of the forum title (some replies strayed a little) I'd upgrade our electronic drum kit. Probably an Alesis Strike Pro. With a good hi-hat stand and bass pedal added on, not much change from $6k.

Big waste of money at my current skill level? Yes. Fun to play? Also yes.

I'd be keen to put it towards making a patio in our back garden... I wonder how much it would cost to concrete or brick our back garden, more than $6k I would think! Then I wouldn't have to mow so much lawn!
