Jeeze, I was hoping it was a bit less crappy than that, the consideration I provided for getting the fibre was more than those things cost :-).

Well, that went pretty well:

 

 

 

 

Still need to strap some of the wiring back out of the way, but apart from that I've now got a nice opto-isolated link to all the sensor gear outside that doesn't rely on a not-always-reliable wireless bridge.
