A quick update, a Z-Wave module with the NZ frequency is now available for the Yale YDM3109+.

I have basic lock/unlock control and monitoring working in Home Assistant after pairing the module, although it looks like some more configuration is required for this model lock to report "alarmType" values that can indicate who unlocked the door etc.  I ordered the module from Active Automation: Yale Z-Wave module for 3109+/4109+ Assure series Locks (RFHX-YZW51-00) along with a ZME Z-Wave USB Stick (I have no affiliation, just a happy customer)
