My keyboard kindle is fantastic, good battery life and love the page turning button.  I don’t need support from Amazon, only need to download and read new books.  Have no desire to read already purchased books again.  No longer possible to use the side-load option as they have also removed the USB option.

What does jaibreaking the kindle mean, how do you do it, and how would that help me continue to read Amazon books?  I am already using Calibre but the big issue now is - how to get books from Amazon onto my keyboard kindle.

dont tell me I have to buy a new kindle as there is no option with a page-turning button that I need.

You can download Kindle books via the pc Kindle app into Calibre and remove DRM.  Then from there you can upload them via USB to your jailbroken Kindle and read them in Ko Reader.

Or, you can get epubs and put them into Calibre and have it convert them to mobi and send to your Kindle (over USB).

No Jailbreaks required.

I haven’t figured out to reply to a specific post as it tells me the post is too long!

Whatever, how do I get a book from the kindle app into Calibre?  As far as I know, this can’t be done.

responding to another reply, it’s not possible to get an Amazon book in PDF as far as I’m aware, so that isn’t going to work either.
