No worries, I am guessing you accidentally selected another country, tried to change it to NZ, but failed to select your city afterwards? So it kept your freight charge at the higher amount.

hi guys. finally i received my limitlessleds and i love it.
i do have a few questions.

how do i change the default password for the wifi bridge. at the moment its both admin/admin
how do i control the lights remotely. i have internet connection at home (slingshot UFB). what changes needs to be made to allow this.

Will really appreciate some help.

You either need a VPN connection into your home network, or you *could* setup a port fwd. The problem with the port fwd is that the wifi bridge has zero security on it when it comes to relaying commands. So if you made that interface public then random internet traffic could affect your lights.

How do I use the VPN to control lights from away from home? I have a VPN through unblock-us to watch US netflix, is this one able to be used to control my lights away from home?

Short answer: No: that's you using unblock-us's VPN.

Longer answer: You need to setup your own VPN that connects to your house. Todo that you will need a router that is capable of running a VPN server, and a way to access your public IP address (a dynamic DNS service).

The limitless has definate limitations compared to others. Biggest one is no ability to control individual lamps without limiting yourself to 4 lamps per gateway or remote. Ive done some creative grouping between them to get the level of control I want, so one remote has 1 2 3 4 as 4 groups of lights in the room, and another has 1 2 3 4 as the individual lamps in the chandilear.

I have gutted one remote to try to get the buttons under control from a raspberry pi, but they are capacitive buttons which dont seem to work with a high/low signal on a GPIO pin.

I have the amazon echo setup to control my lights, and thought others might like to know how I got it done.

The echo doesn't know how to directly control the LimitlessLED lights, but it DOES know how to control the Philips Hue. So what I use is a chain of commands that goes like this:

Amazon Echo -> Armzilla's echo - ha bridge -> Domoticz Server -> LimitlessLED Bridge

Armzilla's echo-ha bridge fakes Philips hue lights, and allows you to send rest commands to another server (in my case the Domoticz server) that knows how to send stuff onto the limitless LED bridge, and presto voice control
