I am pretty happy with mine. My first paperwhite was pretty awful for it, but I still used it and hardly really ever noticed it as I was engrossed in my content.
I've thought about getting one - my Paperwhite is my most loved electronic device by far and is used at least 2 hours a day almost every day of the year I should think.
However, the paper white is good and until it gets FUBAR (like my original Keyboard Kindle did) I can't really see the value in changing it. Maybe if I saw a pre-loved Oasis at a reasonable price I would but the new price is a bit mad.

I don't use my device nearly as much as 2 hours a day (Lucky if I can get 2 hours a week in with a young family and a business, but I still think it's an excellent device, and the only differences I notice are the different shape which helps with holding, and those blessed, blessed buttons I have missed so much!
Having said that the buttons aren't entirely responsive, they need to be pressed quite hard. I am trying to decide if it's a fault or just the way they are designed.
Having come from the Voyager, which is a lesser upgrade than from the paperwhite, I still feel it was a worthwhile upgrade. I've spent more money on worse things for sure!
