Both our Sony Bravia TVs (2011 and 2013 respectively) are still going strong, they no longer update or run any apps and are now just dumb panels
They have outlasted several TVs purchased in later years by family and friends

I have a 13 year old Apple Thunderbolt display which still works great.
I wonder if you'd feel the same way if you compared it to a modern day equivalent side by side. LED's have a half life, but you'd unlikely notice as it's very small amounts over a long time.
Although 1440p is getting a bit long in the tooth, with 4k being pretty much the default for a good panel these days...

Same here. That damn Sony just keeps going and going and going. Never any issue with it. Pity it has such a crappy interface!

We've got a microwave that my parents bought us for a housewarming gift when we bought out first home - circa 25 years ago.
TV would be somewhere along the lines of 12 years old - no longer smart, but still works just fine most of the time.
The TV it replaced is in my eldest son's room and is also still going strong - that would be probably older than him.

Don't use it, the only button used on the TV Remote is the on/off button!

I do have a Sony LCD from 2005, so 20 years old still in use in bedroom. I have found Sony LCD tvs to be very reliable.
The 1994 IBM Model M I'm typing this on.
Honorable mention to the 35yo Sony CD player that's still playing happily on it's original optical unit, and the 1982 Rega 3 that keeps it company in the hifi corner.

My stapler, that I've had since the mid-1980s.
It has N E V E R misstapled or jammed.
I have to spell that out as I dont want to jinx it.

Fritzbox 7170 from 2008 as a pure VoIP server and ATA behind a firewall (client mode, modem off, routing off, wlan off, special functions off). But its days are numbered in 2.5 years at latest, as it does not support direct IPv6 addressing. Then it will have served faithfully and reliably for 20 years without causing any problems.

@tinkerisk what is that other thing? An air raid siren?
Well...it's Tinkerisk, so it's more likely than not. 😁

My Kindle from 2011. I killed it earlier this year when I was a bit cavalier packing it in my suitcase. It would normally go in my laptop bag. It still turns on, but it has screen damage I suspect from being bent.
It has 800 books on it and I'm not sure it ever had a software update. I'd turn the wifi on when I bought a book, then back off again. No backlight, full keyboard and the battery was brilliant. It was a wee trooper.

Our Simpson clothes drier is 27 years old. It has only had a couple of belts in that time.
Our F&P dryer that my mum bought in the 1968 to dry my cloth nappies in wintery Blenheim. Apart from a bit of surface rust, it's still going strong.
