While I don't know names, I see the numbers, and about 1/4 of the Kindle devices ordered through our Kindle order page have no shipped. Let us know when you get yours!

I didn't order mine through GZ as i didn't get the email about links to use until after i'd ordered. But i've tracked my order this morning and it hit NZ shores about 8am on Saturday so should be here early this week.

ShellNZ: Woohoo, worked :) Thanks freitasm!! Used my friends US address and changed name on Kindle to the US account name.

FYI, you can use our Amazon Kindle order page to go directly to the Kindle eBooks and order... It will continue to help us ;)

Just got the shipping email today with delivery estimate of the 6th of September. I ordered my graphite wifi only on the 11th of August. So excited!

Anyone have any odea how accurate the delivery estimates are?

(Sorry Maurico I'd ordered it prior to realising that there was a Geekzone order page. I will be buying my books from there though.

Mine took 5 days (including the weekend) from the day of shipment to my door. Which was 2 days faster than the estimate thought it might be. It was shipped on the 25th of August and it arrived on the 30th.

Got mine today!

Damn, the e-ink stuff looks pretty good. You even get an @kindle.com email address that you can email ebooks/pdfs/text files to.
The whispernet feature works as advertised, had it connected to the wifi here at work and *poof* the PDF I emailed to it just appeared.

The web browser isn't too shabby either, we'll see if I wish I had ordered the 3G version. (Assuming that web browsing on the 3G is actually free. The kindle guide implies that it's NOT free outside the US)

Another good thing about the kindle is that it remembers where you were up to, when you fall asleep in bed while reading XD

Most readers can do this now, but what i like about the Kindle is that it takes it one step further by syncing across its various devices so that you can read from where you left off on your PC or phone after reading the Kindle for a few hours and vica versa. Very handy when i have a few minutes to read something on my phone while waiting but don't want to have to re-read it back at home. The Kindle sync's it all up for me.
