Nice to see another music provider in NZ now in the way of 7Digital. It seems NZ is finally catching up with the rest of the world as far as digital content is concerned. With the introduction of Quickflix and Spotify coming soon, all we need now is Hulu and Netflix to be based here without having to use a VPN to access them.

7Digital can be found at http://nz.7digital.com

To be fair, nz.7digital.com is actually just a rebranded version of the UK based 7digital.com.

I pretty sure it would all still be based in the UK.

In any case, yes, it is good to have competitive alternatives.

I have noticed though, that the nz version of the 7digital store is somewhat lacking in wideness of catalogue. The sooner regional licencing models are gone, the better.

Nailed it in one, this to me is what is so off putting about the services that are here, you cant help but look at whats available overseas and feel ever so slightly envious!

having no regional licencing would be awesome.
