Need a little help with the wiring. I will be replacing the current Motion Sensor with a pet safe sensor (Swan 1000).
What i'm stumped at is that the original MS has + - TMP x2 NC C and the new one has + - TMP x2 EOL RELAY x2 EOL.
So currently the four wires coming in is connected to + - TMP C and there is a EOL resistor between the other TMP connection and NC.
What i was about to do was wire + - TMP RELAY and put the resistor between the other TMP connection and a EOL connection.
Sounds alright? Does it matter what wire i put in either of the TMP or relay connections?
Thanks
Mark
EDIT: I had a look at another sensor in the house and it has the connections + - ALARM x2 TAMP x2
The wires being used are + - ALARM TAMP with a EOL resistor between TAMP and ALARM.
And another thing to point out the four coloured wires RED/BLACK/BLUE/YELLOW for both sensors the yellow and blue are switched over for their connections. For example one is YELLOW is used for TAMP wihile the other sensor use BLUE. Does it not matter what you use the BLUE and YELLOW wires for?
