Hi. I have a Uniden TV TL32WRA.
The power board (PK0032AA) has failed, and the problem appears to be 2 blown resistors.The hassle I have is that most of the blown resistor's ceramic coating has broken off, and I can't judge what resistors to buy to replace them. Does anyone happen to know where:

A) I can buy a complete replacement power board (Uniden does not respond)
B) I can get a schematic or guide that will outline what resistors those are (Uniden does not respond)
C) I can buy the components in Wellington.

Chances are if they are 'blown' they are fusible resistors , usually a few ohms.
unless you find where the overload is they will probably pop off again.
IMO rather than buy a repl Power supply I would replace the Tv

Have you tried talking to a Uniden dealer e.g. a small phone shop / electronics repair shop that states they deal with Uniden? Im sure they could point you in the right direction but in saying this... I've never heard about Uniden TVs until now.... how much is a power supply vs time vs buying a cheap LCD with builtin freeview @ approx $500

It's not about the TV... This is now about actually fixing it, like a mini project.
If it blows up, no great loss. Resistors will cost me about a dollar... It looks as though a power surge was the cause of the damage.
I will take your advice and look for a Uniden stockist. Thanks!

Thanks for that. I will contact that trader. $200 is a bit excessive, but he should get $100 with absolute ease.
