Can anyone help I have three I Pod’s, one mini and two nano’s all three are run off one PC but are set up under different user names and logins with in Window’s XP.

My children wish to share their music across user names (and here the problem lies) How do I set up ITunes so it see’s the other two music libraries when logged on to one of the user names.

My suggestion would be to copy all the music to a central location (such as the shared documents folder) and then set this directory up as the main music folder for each iTunes install. You may need to use something like iTunes Library Updater to force iTunes to scan/update the music folders and remove the old songs and replace them with the songs in the new location.

Yea, I tunes can be a pain to use. I personally hate using it. I wish that Apple would stop being so silly about their software and allow iPods to be used with other music transfer software.

The best would be if you were able to choose to use iTunes, for people who like it, and be able to drag and drop the music straight into the iPod as if it was a removable usb drive.

Can't beat the burble of that American V8. Ohh yea!

Try Xplay. There are quite a few other applications now that can transfer music to and from iPod's, another one to check out would be Ephpod

Though not so good for transferring PC to iPod, I really like SharePod. No install is required on a PC - it sits on your iPod, meaning you can transfer tracks off your iPod on any PC you connect it to.
