Posting here as there isn't a general area for it other than an Android or a Apple place .... But feel free to move.

Someone is looking at a tablet.  He's looked at apps such as WeChat, Viber, WhatsApp.  Under Apple it's listed for iPhone but not iPad.  With Google, they tend to give screenshots of a phone and not off a tablet.  Can these apps work with an iPad or an Android tablet?  Can all Android apps work with the phone and tablets?

Cheers.

Apple is only Apple

If you use an iPhone to search for an app, you may not see the iPad version. If there is no iPad version you can use the iPhone version on an iPad, it will be iPhone size or you touch the 2X button to make it full screen

most android phone apps will work on tablets aswell but may not look as nice if they don't scale properly the only apps that don't work are ones that require 3G connections if your tablet doesn't have it it just wont do anything other than annoy with connection error messages
