May have bitten off more than I can chew, but have been given the task to organise a live streaming feed from a video camera to a website.

Camera Make: Hikvision
Model: DS-2CD2732F-I

I have an issue with a couple of things, I cannot get the stream of RTSP into an embed code.
I can get the display of a Photo.  But in Firefox, it correctly resizes (to my dimensions) in Chrome, it leaves the image full size, but creates slide view bars, and IE cannot authenticate with the same code at all.

I am looking for a solution to perhaps display the image (if not the video) within a specific display area of my choosing, and have the image adhere to that size.  And also to refresh the image automatically every 15 seconds.

Reached the end of my tether with this, and if anyone thinks they can assist please let me know.

Alternatively an online cloud streaming service would be good, but the ones I have tried so far have been unsuccessful.
This would be required if more than 10 people at a time want to view the feed, as the Camera only limits 10 viewers at one time.  Not sure if this is necessary yet.

Cheers

If you have an RTSP stream, easiest thing to do is to give the URL on the webpage and allow clicking it to open in VLC. Alternatively, embed the VLC plugin and feed it the RTSP url.

If you want us to look through your embed code, post it here - and the css.

This was an awesome suggestion thanks.  I actually just found click2stream.com just after posting this, and it does work very well.  .. on pc.
Now I have been asked to setup to see the feed via mobile phone as well.

Although I think I would rather just use the photo feed for mobile...  and video for pc.

Although this does work (kind of) it requires the user viewing the feed to also install VLC plugin.
But its great way to get more people to use VLC =)  Which I think is certainly the best video streaming/watching program out there (that's free).

Please see this. There are many different methods and live demos and you can choose which one works best for you:
