The site http://insecam.com/ has been in the spotlight lately. Its a site showing image grabs from unsecured security cameras from all over the world, including New Zealand.

Most of the cameras seem to be of offices and businesses, but there are several examples of unsecured security cameras showing peoples living rooms and bedrooms.

Pretty scary stuff, but none of the cameras have been hacked - they are all set up with the standard username and passwords - and thereby accessible by anyone that connects to their IP-address.

Insecam only shows grabs, but if you know the IP (which Insecam is not giving out) you would be able to follow the video streams of these cameras.
