Has anyone got one of these or had experience with one. I want to use it with my Android tablet and I am wondering what the sound quality is like?
They have them at the Warehouse and Noel Leeming

Usually there is a demo model in the shop.  Might be able to connect your phone to it in the shop and test it.  The Thomson web site says it is BT V2.0 which is not WiFi aware (i.e. does not avoid interfering networks) but a number of supplier web sites claim it is v3.0.  V2.1 added adaptive channel hopping.  You might want to read the fine print on the box/manual.

Right now I'm battling a neighbour that got either a wireless TV sender or a cordless phone in the past couple of weeks.  My network was fragile for a few days, then he went on holiday and it was fine for a week, then since Friday when he came back it is fragile again.  Tomorrow I'll get a network analyser from work to debug.

You can never have enough Volvos!

I bought one of the Thomson ones for my youngest boy about a year ago, quite a nice unit and not bad sound for the price

The oldest got one of these TEAC ones for Christmas: https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/audio-mp3/portable-audio-mp3/clock-radios/teac-q7black-bluetooth-alarm-clock-with-dual-usb-charge/prod130576.html

A
bigger, nicer unit and currenty reduced to $42
