Hey there
I have a PSP slimline 2000 and although my laptop recognises the PSP and I am able to "Drag & Drop" photos and MP3's into corresponding folders... AND a little line on the PSP indicates it is transferring data.... AND the remaining memory on my memory stick duo indicates memory has been used.....

- Under Photos - There is NO DATA LOADED
- Under Music - There is NO DATA LOADED...

?????????????????????????????????????

I not know what to do now... Is it on my PSP and just hiding somewhere else? am I putting it in the wrong folders?
Any help would be greatly appreciated... I am not a total techno-phobe, but not really a geek either...

But I LOVE geeks :o)

Thanks heaps

The psp is VERY fussy about the folders you put data into. the music and photos folder must be in the root of the memory stick and called MUSIC and PHOTOS (or PHOTO  cant remember which), i dont know why it has to be in capitals but it does :-s

hey there,
Thanks your reply... When you say the "ROOT" of the memory stick, what does that mean?which of the 2 exising folders should I put PHOTO & MUSIC in?

It doesn't like it in save data, where the games go, it just shows - corrupted data...

thanks

you should have it so there is MUSIC, PHOTO, SAVE DATA or wateva.. MUSIC AND PHOTO shouldnt be in any other folders.

The root is the top of the directory structure, i cant think of an easy way to explain it lol...

This is the kind of explanation i often find myself giving on the job;
if your memory card was a box, it would be called ROOT.
Then PHOTO, MUSIC, etc would be smaller boxes you put inside it.

Put music in Music folder, photos in photo folder. Should both be found in same folder as Savedata. Make sure the music isn't WMA as you need to enable this via the net before they'll even show up
