I'm looking to get an Android-powered media player, basically an Android version of an iPod Touch (i.e. an Android phone without the phone part).  This will basically be used as a glorified MP3 player, but the idea of having it Android powered is so I can also run Android apps (i.e. a few games, etc) and listen to internet radio on it.  Wifi is a must but no need for a SIM card.  I'd prefer to get as newer a version of Android as possible.

What do people recommend?  Are there any brand names that do anything like this or am I limited to Chinese cheapies that I've seen on AliExpres (the problem with what I've seen on AliExpress is they always seem to show photos of products with Chinese displaying on the screens, and I wonder if these devices can even be set to display English).

Any guidance about getting something like this would be great.
