Pebble this morning announced a new round smartwatch, using the same tech (inside) as the Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel.

Major differences appear at this stage seem to be the round face and variable sizing along with a drastic reduction in battery life to enable the reduction in thickness/weight.

Is this the Pebble watch that will finally appeal to the masses, or have they just missed the mark?

I'm on the fence - and still looking forward to getting my Pebble Time...

I'd buy one of these smartwatch things if they decided to embrace Windows as a valid phone OS...

There is a way to get the Pebble to work with windows, but it takes a 3rd party piece of software, I think...

These look great, I've cancelled my Time Steel order (it was due to ship) and will get one of these.

I'm particularly smitten with the white/silver with Brown leather strap...most websites are pretty positive about the new watch...with the exception of the reduction in water resistance and battery performance
