I just received my new philips hue hub today. My Wife and I can now lift our wrists up (Apple Watch) and say "Siri, Turn off all the lights" anywhere in the world (as long as we have internet) and they go off :-)

Dim the Lights
Turn off the lights in the Lounge
Goodnight (Turn off all the lights in the house)
Turn on all the lights upstairs
etc

Are now all possible from my Phone or Watch.

Now to find some power adapters (240V NZ Pin-out). (I have ZWave ones already and Controller (http://razberry.z-wave.me/index.php?id=9) or find someway or getting homekit to talk to other devices.

I do not know you but I really doubt you deserve to have the power to turn the lights out anywhere in the world and I am now suddenly very scared...

I can turn off my lights with me being anywhere in the world, not the other way round.

But yes I can see how you can read it the other way around. :-)

Personally I would go with Zen, Orac, or Slave, but I'm old...

I have the hue lights , security cameras configured to IFTTT rules. Turning off lights is at the wall is a strange concept now
