Replacement remote control for Luxaire air conditioning unit

I am trying to find a replacement remote control unit for a Luxaire air conditioning unit

The model is LHKA18FS-AAA

I know very little about this brand or AC units themselves as it is in my deceased brothers house

I was wondering how to figure out if generic remotes work as I see some bad responses on them.

I also saw a post from some time ago where someone has hunted high and low but didn't look they had much luck

I also can't track the distributor as I think these were a Warehouse special

Any thoughts, ideas on how to select or find a remote that will work and hence save having to replace the whole unit would be most welcome

Thanks

Trot

Found this on eBay in 20s, could be what you're after.

Thanks Josh

Looks like it might be the right option - I was just a little reticent without confirming it will work as the model I refer to I believe is quite old

Really appreciate the lighting fast responce Ta
