Hey,

I want to get some wireless/Bluetooth headphones. I want to use them for comp gaming, so they need to have an in built mic. I done want to have to have a cable attached. Also want them for every day music listening on my phone, so don't want them to look overly like gaming headsets.

Anyone got some advice? Cheers

I purchased the Steel Series Siberia 800 wireless headphones for gaming. Probably best headset i've used once you use the optical out on your computer with them.

They just replaced the 800's with the Siberia 840 which comes with bluetooth (unfortunately no bluetooth on my 800's)  so the 840's should be exactly what you're looking for.

From dealing with the cousins kids ones, the logitech with their own dongle were the best performers, bluetooth was all laggy when gaming.

Also plenty of bluetooth headphones will not do handsfree at the same time as the higher quality stereo audio, so you either have to have mono telephone quality audio and a working mic, or else stereo somewhat laggy but ok sounding audio and no mic.

Then 840 has both Bluetooth and wireless so you can use the Bluetooth to use with phones for calling and audio and use the wireless transmission for gaming audio and sounds from the PC so best of both worlds. They are pricey though.

Just forget about Apple's new wireless AirPod. Yes, they have build-in mic and these are great for music all day,, but I don't think it's user friendly at all. Two ear pieces are too likely to fall from your ear with any sudden movement. Plus their mouth piece is very far from your mouth.

So, you better go for Siberia 840 as Kidona suggested.
