Got a Cheapish Chinese smartwatch, (AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT),  that has a Vodafone sim card in it that texts and calls Vodafone ok.  Looking for the correct Connection settings.  It has the following Fields to fill in,  can anyone help ?

 

 

 

Under Data Accounts:

 

 

 

 Account Name:

 

APN:

 

Username:

 

Password:

 

Auth Type:  choice of Normal or Secure

 

Advanced Settings:

 

           -  Homepage

 

           -  Connection type:   HTTP or 

 

           -  Use Proxy

 

           - Proxy Address

 

           - Proxy Port

 

           -Proxy User name

 

           -Proxy Password

 

 

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

APN: Vodafone

 

(if it asked) Type: Default

 

Leave the rest blank, that should work.

I think this should really be in the Vodafone sub-forum. In any case, there's a sticky with Vodafone NZ APN settings here.
