Hey guys. I need a little bit of help with getting the geofencing working.

First off the latest firmware is installed on the HCL and the app is upto date on both my iPhone and my partners iPhone (both 6s)

What I've done is set the home location of the HCL, created a user for my partner and I'm using the super user account. both accounts are set to update the location every 5 minutes. I've created a scene to increase a variable every time one of us comes within 50m of the house. That was 2 days ago and we have both been at work each day, so away from the house way longer than the 5 mins and the variable hasn't changed. If I manually run the scene the variable increases as it should.

Something that I thought was weird is the fact that neither iPhone had the pop up asking to use the location data of the phone so I manually set each phone to always share location data. Another thing that I thought was a bit weird is the fact that I've read there should be a map on the home screen reporting the current location of the users after enabling the location tracking. No pay has appeared there.

I've done the basic reboot the HCL uninstalled and reinstalled the apps on the iPhones.

Any help appreciated.

Hey Rick,

i am setting up geo fencing and having the opposite problem.

The scene is set to turn on the front light when i get home. but it just keeps turning it on whenever i am home and i can't turn it off.

I am running latest HC2 and app on iPhones.

Can you access your device from home.fibaro.com?  I am thinking that the app remotely can't see the Home Centre?

One thing i haven't worked out, is what is triggering the geofence.  Does the phone app monitor and trigger from the app, or does it just pulse back its location every x and the HomeCentre does the geofence work?
