Hi all,

This morning one of my Windows 10 PC's quarantined my Dahua SmartPSS application - its been installed for probably a couple of months and no issues seen so far (that I've noticed!).

I'm hoping its a false positive, but have a few other installs around the place so I'm a little worried!

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has seen anything similar or has any info (in a general sense) about this.

Cheers,

Looks like this was a false positive (fingers crossed!).

I went to another Windows 10 box with the same SmartPSS installed, checked the defintion version (which was earlier than the one on which I had the detection), updated the defintions which resulted in the definitions being later than the one on which I had the detection, and run a scan - nothing detected.

I then updated the defintions on the PC where the detection occured, released SmartPSS from quarantine and rescanned it, nothing detected.

The version that had the detection was 1.235.3091.
