They look reasonably well built for the price. The 1A single one is only 7 bucks and fine for powering lowish drain devices or overnight charging when speed isn't essential.

Anyone care to test the output to see how clean it is?

I had one of the 2.4 amp chargers.
I often needed to giggle the USB cord (at charger end) to make it connect and start charging the phone. Same cord worked in another charger ok.
Took about a hour longer to charge the phone than my other 2 amp charger would.

I had one of the 1A ones that I got to run something, made a whine noise so got rid of it.

 

kmart have a 4 port one that works fine but has a stupid blue light on it.

They're quite small @reven. Not as small as the newish apple ones though. I'm running a Chromecast audio with mine.
