I bought a Daewoo Emergency phone for my mother in law. I know old as the hills, but it was new held in storage. Everything seems to work Ok, except when I want to pair the remote. The manual is not quite as helpful as it may seem. The idea is that you press function and can program a variety of things, followed by a number. The function and number to pair a remote is 8.

But in the manual for the pairing you are supposed to first press or enter "pir on/off" first. But there does not appear to be such a key or pin etc. You could say the remote should be pressed on, but it is always on anyway. Also there would be no good reason to press the remore first as ut is paured anyway. Does any one have ir used one of these before.
