Hi Guys,

I quick check suggests Google as always has limited the Harmony Experience integration to the USA. Has anyone tried to get it working locally ?.

+1 I have my Harmony Hub setup to be controlled by Google Assistant on my phone via IFTTT.

I'm waiting for the speaker attachment for the Nvidia SHield to become available so I can use that instead of my phone.

And I just use google assistant on my phone until I can get the Google Voice Pi HAT.

Apparently going to be re-released soon :D

I need to research the Alexa skill for Harmony Hub. If that looks like it will work in NZ I will definitely get a HH - I am imagining ditching all those remotes and just saying "Alexa watch Sky", "Alexa Sport 1", "Alexa watch Roku", "Alexa TV off" etc. The future is here!

Do you have to say "Alexa ask harmony to turn tv off" or can you just say "Alexa turn tv off"? If the latter does it bug you or not matter?

Cheers

Hi Guys,

An UPDATE I got the official Harmony Action to work found this page https://ausdroid.net/2017/04/09/google-home-intergration-harmony-mini-guide/ and tried the key word phrase mentioned on the Google Home “Ok Google, ask Harmony to connect” Google Home says its not linked and to go to the Home app to link. I opened the App and the Harmony Action is available.
