Hi All

My knowledge is pretty basic when it comes to security cameras.

I want 1 outdoor unit to "keep an eye" out on my dogs when i'm at work - make sure no one steals them basically.

Whats the best set up/unit to get?  I'd like to be able to view and get an alert, on my phone, if a person walks into our yard.  Ideally it'd be great to have 2 way communication with anyone who comes into our yard.

Something that is wireless would be best but i'm aware that being "on" all the time would drain the battery quickly and use a lot of data.  Not sure if motion activated would work as the dogs would be wandering about a bit so would probably trigger the activation unless the sensor can be set to aonly detect above a certain height (i.e. only activate for things over 3ft off the ground).

Is this possible? Or do i need to accept that all my wants can't be met and make the best of what is avaliable on the market?
