hey guys/gals,

I just published an alarm.com (what morepork uses) node for Node-RED.

https://www.npmjs.com/package/node-red-contrib-alarm-dot-

I discovered Node-RED 2 days ago and was so impressed with it I stopped using openHAB and switched to that.  I had a node script that openHAB would call to arm/disarm my alarm, and ported this to node-red.

If you havent look at node red, check it out

such a great way to create rules etc for home automation (among other things).

note sure if anyone using morepork is interested in home automation or not, but figured I'd publish here to let anyone know.

I only just recently learned about Node-Red and am blown away. There's a Home Assistant integration for it too, which means you can create all your automations in Node-Red instead of HA. For those of you running Home Assistant, check out some blog posts here on the integration: http://diyfuturism.com/index.php/2017/11/26/the-open-source-smart-home-getting-started-with-home-assistant-node-red/  and some examples here: http://diyfuturism.com/index.php/category/node-red/
