Middle bottom button is COUNTDOWN which you can configure to any period you like and be set to either turn OFF after the countdown or ON. Hit the button and it starts the countdown.

I got one of these off aliex for soldering iron/hotmelt glue gun etc table since I have a habit of turning them on to heat up, and then doing something else while I wait, and then getting hungry and then finding the gluegun was on for 2 days.

Thanks for that link - now have the unit but not English instructions!
Don’t suppose you have any or a brief description of how to program it?
Many thanks

I'm guessing you push the button to set the timer (which shows in the LEDs). Once for 1 hour, twice for 2 hours, thrice for 4?

Really? There's literally only one button...
