Ok I'm a bit confused with the differences between the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

1)Safari is free to use on the iPod Touch as long as your have wifi right but you have to pay for Safari on the iPhone?

2)What does the iPhone have (besides 3g) that the iPod Touch doesn't?

and lastly

3) Would it be cheaper in the long run getting a iPod Touch because iPhone you have to pay for Phone calls...?

1) safari is free on the iPhone too, so long as you have wifi available, otherwise it will default to using your cellular connection (you can turn this off though.)
2) iPhone has GPS, longer battery life, different cases (16GB model only) to name a few.
3)Yes, but then you can't call your mates with an iPod.

The iPhone is a phone, and has cellular data features. The iPod Touch is not a phone.

I am not sure how much more explanation you want around that - it seems pretty obvious to me.

You have to pay to buy either device, but Safari comes free with both - no extra charge.

You can use Safari over WiFi for free on both devices, but if you are out of WiFi range, and want to use Safari on an iPhone over a mobile data connection, you will pay for that functionality.

Thanks alot Laughing That really helped but for an iPhone you have to be on a 2 year plan (I think it is or something like that...)

No you don't need to be on a plan, you can just buy the handset for just over $1,000.00 so in my words all the difference between both products is that the iPhone can do calls, other than that they are the same (although the internet on the iPhone is always but not on the iPod)
