Someone has given me a box filled with an Altron Harrier 'high security alarm terminal' from around the mid-1990s. I am informed that the alarm was only installed and used briefly. Most of the time it has just been in the box.

I know nothing about this device. It includes some impressively large and weighty bits and pieces, like the main alarm box, the control panel, an SLA battery and other assorted bits. It looks like it was expensive when new. Maybe it still is. Like I say, I know nothing about it.

Does anyone know anything about this device? If it still has any value I might sell it. If not, I might give it away. I can't think of a use for it or the components but someone else probably can.

Best idea is to use it to fill in a gap in your wheelie bin.

They're worthless, and nowhere near as good as the current alarms on the market.

Thanks but not really in the market. I was just wondering what, if anything, this one might be good for.
