I'm having problems with the Bluetooth connection between a Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch and my Samsung J5 Prime phone. Basically the Bluetooth connection between the two will last ten minute, sometimes longer then will disconnect. Nothing I do makes it reconnect other than restarting my phone. Both the watch and the phone have had recent updates and the problem only started after the updates. Any ideas?

Thanks for that but it hasn't solved the issue.

When I go into Bluetooth storage I'm unable to clear the cache - it's not in bold. I've cleared the data (not sure if I should do that) and rebooted the phone. This works for a short time before it all stops again.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Have you factory reset the watch and re-paired it with the phone?

Give that a go.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
