I playing with these - $15 delivered with colour screen, battery etc.

 

Working on getting dryer sensor to work using built in vibration sensor to work with Home Assistant and generally playing. Great value for money.

I've got a few of the ESP32 DEV Boards, around the place for bluetooth Xiaomi Temperature Sensors in hard to reach places.

@prob, how for away are you from hooking this to HA?

 

Would it then be a binary sensor? Something else?

I'm just at the beginning. A problem is that the motion sensor used is not one commonly employed. However, there is a library. Will report once I know more.
