I am suddenly not able to send ebooks to any email address via the email function in Calibre.  I have checked all the send settings for xtra mail in my Preferences which are correct.  Has anything changed in Calibre or Spark xtra mail settings??  Can anyone help, please?

On Windows to send books to Kindle I use the Amazon app called "Send to Kindle". There's a Mac version too.

it's very weird cos it has been working perfectly for years using my xtra a/c, but I will set up the GMX and see how that goes.  Cheers

For anyone else having issues, I have set up a GMX account, put their send settings in and have it emailing ebooks again.  Hallelujah!

I take that back!  3 books sent via GMX and haven't been able to send any more since.  I am now sending them by email from where they are stored in Calibre on the hard drive.  Has Spark recently changed their settings?  Haven't been able to find out yet.

Did you try my suggestion? I've used it for years with no problems. It's slightly less convenient but also avoids putting a bunch of useless large emails into my email account's sent folder (gmail saves everything by default).

If the suggestion isn't applicable you could give us more detail of what you're trying to achieve - for example what device and desktop OS you're using.

Where are you sending them? Whilst you email provider shouldn't care, apparently Amazon only accept certain formats for Kindle addresses.
