Just did a small load in my AEG front loader washing machine. A pair of socks, underwear and a T-shirt.

When the load had finished, these two things were in the drum. Also in the drum is what appeared to be a LOT of tissue like substance. Like if I had 20 tissues worth. But there’s no way it could have been tissues but that’s what it looked like.

Any ideas what has happened ??

someone washed the dowels and paper thin instructions that came with a piece of furniture that they probably forgot to put into the thing when putting it together.

Thanks for the replies.
I feel a bit more at ease.

Dunno how it would have gotten in with my load though. I would have expected it to have been in the previous load but that came out absolutely fine. I’ll have to ask around.

Cheers.

Someone bought kit-set furniture, chair, entertainment unit, table, shelving, drawers all come with dowel often.

Maybe they migrated from your fibre box after getting bored with thumping in there.

... or maybe they could be used as earplugs to block out the thumping from the fibre box - if that’s still going on - but how could we ever know about that? 😀

Two spying capsules from Google disguised as wooden dowel joints. You must wrap them into metal foil at home and evacuate to a rural area to their final destruction by a hammer.
