I want to buy a herbal vaporizer from the states as it's $300 cheaper than here. Amazon won't ship here, and YouShop won't send 'e-cigarettes'. The lithium-ion battery is an issue too. Aside from someone physically going via the states, has anyone had success with this type of thing? What about sea freight?

Not sure this is relevant but a few years ago I bought a laptop on Amazon. Had it shipped to my sister in the States. She then sent it on to me as Amazon wouldn't. She had to go through some bureaucratic stuff because of the battery, but once the paperwork was done she was able to ship the computer without problem. I think it was DHL but not sure anymore. My point is it can be done, but you need someone there who can jump through the necessary hoops.

Sounds like a lot of trouble for $300 with no warranty or support, and big question marks over if customs will let it in. Just saying....

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
