hello
I am planning to buy Samsung SmartThings Hub V3 for personal use.

https://www.samsung.com/nz/smartthings/hub/smartthings-v3-hub-gp-u999sjvlgaa/

Any advice with below will be appreciated,

  • Samsung ST V3 or something else?
  • Samsung V2 or V3
  • Where to buy from (cheaper)?
  • Things like about Samsung ST
  • Things don't like about Samsung ST
  • Anything else that I should be aware of

Thanks.

I dont think you can get a V2 with NZ Frequencies. So V3 is really the only option.

Thanks.

Is there any better alternative to Samsung which supports more devices and cheaper as well as safer to use?

I ordered two Smarthings Wi-Fi from OZ. Acts as a hub and mesh Wifi setup. Came with a bundle of Smartthings sensors too.

Got through RAVC but looks like they have stopped selling them according to the bottom of this page...
