I have a fairly new Zip vacuum cleaner which just stopped working. Checked all the obvious things including letting stay disconnected over night still no go.
I suspect it may be som sort of thermal cut out but not sure how to reset it or where to find it.
Any geeks out there familiar with zip cleaners?
Thanks

If you were able to give the model number of your vacuum, someone might be able to help you.
I assume that this is out of warranty.

Have you tried calling Godfreys?  They might have a few pointers.

Familiar enough to know the Zip Briscoes sells is little to do with the Zip of old. Take it back, get something else would be my advice.

I was told by a chap at Briscoes (when returning my third Zip iron) that it's best to avoid Zip products - they're basically home-brand without the QC.

The exact quote, "There's a reason Zip stuff is so cheap"...

If it's still under warranty - take it back and swap it out for something better.
