I have been using the Wyze motion sensors and door/window sensors in Home Assistant but their reliability is an issue so I am looking for suggestions on alternatives. They have to be battery operated and easily integrated into HA.

Thanks.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Shelly??

They have a door/window and motion sensors. Haven't used them myself, but if they are as good as the rest of the Shelly range they should great. Very easy integration in to Home Assistant.

I have been using the Zigbee Xiaomi Smart Home Motion & Door Sensors with a Deconz ConbeeII Stick. I am happy with the performance & range.

The only issue I have the the motion sensors are the release time post a motion event. In areas I need accurate release times I have used a PIR sensor on an D1 Mini flashed with ESP Home.

I've recently set up a Xiaomi Zigbee Hub at my parents house with the Xiaomi Gateway3 add-on (Via HACS). https://github.com/AlexxIT/XiaomiGateway3

I was lucky enough that my house was pre-wired with a Paradox alarm system. The Paradox went in the trash and was replaced by a Konnected.io board. So, my motion sensors are hard-wired into Home Assistant and the alarm is all now powered with PoE.

Bonus, my security cameras also all act as Sirens. Also, as well as acting as an alarm, the motion sensors are useful for turning on night-lights and identifying where in the house people are.

For Door / Window sensors (As well as Temperature and Humidity Sensors) I went with the Xiaomi Aqara sensors. They have been very easy to use and are rock solid.

I've been buying them from Banggood, but they're widely available online

I'm also using a Conbee II stick but with Home Assistant's native ZHA Zigbee Coordinator. This same stick also acts as the hub for my Hue outdoor lighting.

I work for a global Data Protection Software company - But my opinions are my own.

The Shelly motion sensor looks good but a bit steep at $98.

Another vote for the Xiaomi sensors - work well, are cheap enough to make extra coverage not an issue, and work well with Home Assistant. Unlike migrif, rather than a zigbee stick I just the standard Xiaomi base station to connect them into HA.
